Bend Spoons, Bond Hearts

A Consciousness Exploration Workshop for Communities & Teams

In-Person Spoon Bending Workshop
In Portugal

Spoon Bending Workshop for Teams & Communities is an immersive and playful in-person experience exploring focus, intention, energy, and consciousness through spoon-bending practice.

This workshop naturally creates connection, shared wonder, laughter, and a sense of collective empowerment, helping strengthen bonds within communities and teams.

A spoon appears solid, yet at a microscopic level it is in constant motion.
Metal is composed primarily of layers of iron atoms in constant movement, capable of bending under the right conditions.
This workshop explores the relationship between consciousness, energy, and matter, and how a shift in inner state can influence our interaction with the physical world.

During this workshop, you and your community or team will:

• Be guided through a specific process to build up the energy necessary for metal bending
• Be supported in a practice designed to release self-limiting beliefs that may block the bending flow
• Have the opportunity to experience 2 spoon-bending flows (I will bring the spoons)
• Explore intuitive awareness through a collective intuitive perception practice

What is happening when the spoon bends?

Although science has not yet explained this experience (like many of the things I teach, I seem to be drawn to these kinds of mysteries…), this is how I would describe what happens:

During the journey, I will guide the group to gather and build up a strong amount of energy within a very small space: the specific spot on the spoon that you wish to bend.
For a short moment, usually just a few seconds, a sort of “portal” seems to open where the metal softens. Most people experience something happening in their body, a shift in the field. Some describe this moment as an altered state of consciousness, where something new suddenly becomes possible.

The metal gives.
And then, just as suddenly, the portal closes again and the metal hardens once more.

Intention is essential in this process. It guides the energy flow into that moment in time and space where a new dimension seems to become accessible.

How will you know it is not bent by physical strength?

It is a bit hard to answer this question with words. When you feel it, you know it.
One suggestion, if you are the research-oriented type and have enough spare spoons: try bending two similar spoons. Bend one using physical strength, and the other using intention.

You will notice several distinctions:

  • The amount of effort involved is different.
  • The time it takes is different.
  • The bends or loops created look different.

What is the point of bending spoons?

In my personal experience, it has brought me a deeper sense of awe toward life and mystery.
It nourishes the innate knowing that true power comes from within. It can also strengthen self-confidence and provide a satisfying sense of achievement.
Practised in a group, it creates a powerful sense of connection, shared wonder, and collective empowerment, naturally strengthening bonds within communities and teams.
And finally, it helps widen consciousness, inviting us to relate to the world with a grounded sense of trust: the feeling that we are held by something much greater than ourselves, far beyond the limits of the rational mind, and that we can soften and relax into that.
